TOGU Faculty of Pharmacy Discusses Education and Quality Processes with Stakeholders

Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University (TOGU) Faculty of Pharmacy held its Unit Advisory Board Meeting on November 6, 2025 , in the Faculty Meeting Hall. The meeting was organized to evaluate the faculty's education, research, social contribution, and quality processes by receiving opinions from internal and external stakeholders.

At the meeting, following a briefing on the aims and objectives of the Advisory Boards Directive , the faculty's 2025-2026 academic year undergraduate education activities were discussed. In this context, information was shared regarding the faculty's mission , vision , and its establishment on June 14, 2018. It was noted that the faculty, which admitted its first students in the 2024-2025 academic year , has reached a total of 80 undergraduate students as of the 2025-2026 academic year.

Participants were also informed about the 2025-2026 Academic Year Education Guide , the student laboratories prepared for practical training , and the "Internship I" program, which requires 20 working days in community pharmacies at the end of the 4th semester.

Following the presentations, critical agenda items were discussed, such as proposals for collaboration with stakeholders on the faculty's education, quality, and accreditation processes and suggestions regarding scholarships and aid for students. Additionally, opinions were received on solutions to ensure the continuity of education services in departments lacking faculty members or assistants , and on increasing cooperation among pharmaceutical, pharmacy, and healthcare institutions in Tokat.

The meeting, hosted by Dean Prof. Dr. Bilge Hilal ÇADIRCI , was attended by internal stakeholders, including Vice Deans Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Fatma GÖÇ and Dr. Öğr. Üyesi İbrahim Serkan AVŞAR. External stakeholders included representatives from the Tokat Provincial Directorate of Health , Tokat Provincial Directorate of National Education , TOGÜ Health Research and Application Center Directorate , and Alke Sağlık from the pharmaceutical/cosmetics industry.

The meeting concluded after receiving the stakeholders' wishes and requests and sharing the External Stakeholder Satisfaction Survey.
