“Little Pharmacist’s Herbal Tea Workshop” Held Within the Scope of TOGÜ Winter Camp

As part of the Winter Camp activities organized by Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Child Education Research and Application Center, the Faculty of Pharmacy Department of Pharmacognosy held the “Little Pharmacist’s Herbal Tea Workshop” on Thursday, January 22, 2026, for children aged 5–7.

During the workshop, young participants were introduced to winter-themed medicinal plants such as linden, rosehip, hibiscus and cinnamon. Under the guidance of our academic staff, the children prepared their own winter tea blends. Front and back labels were designed for the tea packages; the children packaged their teas and completed their personalized products.

After the preparation phase, the teas were brewed and a pleasant tasting session was held together with the children. Throughout the workshop, the participants both enjoyed the activity and learned fundamental information about the beneficial properties of medicinal plants.

The event aimed to foster awareness of herbal products, support healthy living habits, and introduce the societal importance of the pharmacy profession to children at an early age.
