As part of the TOGÜ Summer Camp, a “Summer Tea Workshop for Little Hands” was held on 13 July 2026 for children aged 5–7. The workshop was organised by Assist. Prof. Dr. Fatma Göç and Res. Asst. Dr. Hilal Bacanak from the Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy.
During the workshop, the children received age-appropriate information about plants and the preparation of herbal teas. They had the opportunity to examine purple basil, rose petals, hibiscus and cranberries, discovering their colours, aromas and distinctive characteristics.
The young participants then prepared their own summer tea blends while learning more about plants through an enjoyable hands-on activity. The workshop concluded as an engaging and educational experience that encouraged children’s curiosity about plants and nature.
